Running for a Cause
The Piedmont Turkey Trot is a 100% nonprofit organization dedicated to giving back to our neighborhood. Net proceeds from the event directly benefit the Piedmont High School Cross Country and Track & Field Teams.
Because of your participation, we also provide annual donations and support to:
  • Piedmont Middle School XC and Track & Field Teams
  • Piedmont Junior Running Club
  • Run Better Oakland
  • Piedmont Service Crew

Our Community Impact
Since 2017, the Piedmont Turkey Trot has successfully funneled $205,000 back into the local community, including $135,000 towards The Hampton Field rebuild. In addition, we have contributed $20,000 to the Piedmont Education Foundation and, most recently, $60,000 towards the PHS Athletic Boosters.

Stay Tuned for more Information on our FREE THIRD ANNUAL TINY TOT TROT! To be held on Wednesday, November 25th beginning at 4pm Witter Field, Piedmont CA. One lap around the track for 3-6 year olds.

Bib Pick Up will be on Wednesday November 25th from 3-6pm at the Veterans Hall, 401 Magnolia Piedmont. They can also be picked up from 7:45 am to 8:15 am day of race but there will be NO SAME DAY RACE REGISTRATION

Safety Rules for All Entrants

Bikes, In-line skates, trikes, scooters, wagons and skateboards are not permitted. The use of headphones or earbuds are strongly discouraged for your safety; you must be able to hear directions from announcers, Police, volunteers, etc. Unregistered walkers or runners are not permitted on the race course. Strollers and baby joggers are permitted and must start the race at the designated signage at the back of the start line.
