Help Dale raise money

Kia ora everyone. We are a group of open water swimmers from Timaru . We call ourselves the Timaz Swimaz. Most of us have had a personal experience of having a direct family member, friend or business associate helped by the Canterbury West Coast Air Rescue team. When I hear the rescue helicopter fly over, I look up and think that it could be me ( or it could be you ) who is next in need. When we learned about the Back To Base fund raising challenge, we decided that we would love to help. Not only will this help as a part of our winter training, but we will be swimming for such a great cause and swimming for those who will need the Air Rescue support. That support saves lives and how do you put a price on that.  How far will we swim during August we are not sure about but swimming from Timaru to Picton sounds like a good number…. around 500km. If you read this and feel like helping us help them, we would love to see a donation, no matter how small ( or large !! ) …. Thanks for taking notice
