Help Virginia raise money

Running has always been a passion of mine, and I want to use the Flying Pig as an opportunity to support a cause I care deeply about. I am raising money for CancerFree KIDS because of my passion for healthcare and my desire to work with children facing terminal illnesses and cancer. Childhood cancer is severely underfunded, with less than 8% of cancer research funding dedicated to it. CancerFree KIDS helps fill this gap by funding early-stage research that has the potential to develop life-saving treatments for children. Their grants help researchers turn ideas into real-world therapies, often attracting further funding, giving families hope for a brighter future. Supporting CancerFree KIDS means directly contributing to groundbreaking pediatric cancer research and making a difference in the lives of children and their families during their most challenging moments.
