Help Megan raise money

I'm proud to be raising funds for an organization that is near and dear to my heart-- Keep Cincinnati Beautiful (KCB). I know first hand the hard work and dedication that every single person involved with KCB puts back into our communities, and I couldn't be more proud to be a part of such an incredible organization.

For those of you who don't know, I manage the Community Engagement team at KCB, coordinate volunteers, and plan/execute company team-building events for our partners. I love what I do, and I love the team at KCB as well as the friends I've made along the way.

One of those dear friends is Lisa Koberna, who works with Great Lakes Brewing Company. We met over 11 years ago, cleaning up and painting meter poles in Clifton. Since then, we've periodically gone on some spontaneous adventures (usually spurred by Lisa) like an intense walk at the Cincinnati Nature Center while I was 18 weeks pregnant with Theo or a random 7 mile urban hike through Cincinnati. So, when Lisa decided to walk the half marathon last year, she asked for me to join. I ended up severely spraining my ankle days into training and had to skip out last year, but this year we're going to make it happen!

Also, this feels like a serendipitous time to do this. We're embarking on a monumental year for Keep Cincinnati Beautiful, which I'll share more about publicly soon, but it's also a transformative year for me personally as I enter into my 40s. Cheers to a new decade! To the trip!
