To have the most enjoyable race day experience, please give yourself plenty of time before your race. Factor in timing for: getting to the event site, parking, toilet use (which may include wait time), getting into your start corral, deep breathing and getting into your groove!

The closest parking options to Peace Park (located at 2 Ave & 8 St SW in Eau Claire) are operated by the Calgary Parking Authority (CPA).
The closest lots are Lot 6 (Louise Bridge) and Lot 71 (Downtown), which offer affordable weekend day rates but have specific capacities.
Parking Options Near Peace Park
- CPA Lot 6 (Louise Bridge)
- Location: 311 8 Street SW (directly adjacent to the park).
- Capacity: 207 stalls (including 1 accessible stall).
- Saturday Cost: $1.00 per hour between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM, up to a maximum daytime
- flat rate of $2.00. After 6:00 PM, the evening rate is $1.00 per hour up to a $2.00 maximum.
- CPA Lot 71 (Downtown)
- Location: 603 3 Avenue SW (roughly one block south of the park).
- Capacity: 50 stalls total (25 indoor and 25 outdoor).
- Saturday Cost: $1.00 per hour ($0.50 per half-hour) between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
- Evening rates after 6:00 PM drop to $1.00 per hour up to a $3.00 maximum.
- CPA Lot 58 (Downtown)
- Location: 935 4 Avenue SW (a short walk southwest of the park).
- Capacity: Specific stall count is unlisted by CPA, but it serves as an alternative outdoor surface lot option.
- Saturday Cost: $1.00 per hour ($0.50 per half-hour) from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and $1.00 per hour for evenings.
On-Street Parking Alternative
Alternatively, Calgary Parking Authority pricing for on-street parking on Saturdays is in effect from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Pricing varies strictly by the specific block zone, but it becomes entirely free after 6:00 PM and all day on Sundays.
