A Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) machine would allow our clinicians at Hanmer Springs Health Centre to rapidly assess conditions such as internal bleeding, blood clots, heart failure, gallstones, kidney problems and pregnancy-related complications without patients needing to travel 135 kilometres to the nearest hospital ultrasound service.
