My Story…
Hi all,
Looking forward to the 2027 Pittsburgh Half Marathon and I decided to again run for a reason! For those that don't know, I lost my mother, Marie, in 2006 to cervical cancer and in her honor have ran for a reason in most of my races always to cancer-related philanthropies including the Cervical Cancer Foundation, Susan G Komen, and the Mario Lemieux Foundation.
For my 2027 race, I choose to support and fundraise for the Rush to Crush Cancer which benefits the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center! Any little bit helps, if you'd like to contribute a $1 or $2 per mile I will run next May ($13 or $26) I would greatly appreciate it!!! If not, thanks for reading anyway and as always FUCK CANCER!
