NextGen Scholars For Change

NextGen was founded by a proud University of Illinois graduate, and several of our scholars have come from the University of Illinois. It's because of the opportunities that the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign provided that NextGen is able to pay it forward and help others students become the next generation of leaders.  I-L-L

NextGen Scholars for Change invests in first-generation college students who are ready to become the next generation of public service leaders. 

Through our Public Service Internship Program, we provide paid internships, mentorship, professional development, and policy research opportunities for students pursuing careers in public service. We believe all first-generation students, regardless of race, gender, or socioeconomic background, should have a fair opportunity to enter public policy and service. We strive to inspire civic engagement and equip students with the resources to research and serve communities.
