My Story…
This will be my 10th year participating in the Point to LaPoint swim! It is pure joy to swim in the ‘big waters’ of Lake Superior and feel the push & pull of the big swells. Where else could I do this?!!! Additionally, it allows me to fundraise for the Bayfield Recreation Center where many kids and adults will learn to swim as a result of the fundraising. I am so fortunate to know how to swim; teaching the population of Bayfield and its neighboring communities to swim & boat safely in the big water would be wonderful.
