Help Shelby raise money

My two passions have collided.

All my life, running and animals, specifically dogs, have been my outlets. And for a lot of the same reasons. They both require high commitment. Strict consistency. Daily discipline. It’s a long term investment. Both teaching you there is so much more to this life then yourself. And it is an absolute privilege to pour back into the very lives that have shaped me into the runner and human I am today.

I am so excited to be running next years 2027 Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon as a charity runner for Animal Allies, a nonprofit rescue dedicated to pet adoptions, education, and volunteering. The work they do is demanding, thankless, and deserving of so much more recognition than just one race. And because of this, the goals for this fundraising, like my running, are pretty demanding. Maybe even unrealistic. But if there’s one thing this sport has taught me it’s that there is never shame in not achieving, only in never trying.

If you are able and willing, please consider donating to their mission. Your donation goes straight to Animal Allies itself. Not able to financially support at this time? That’s okay! You can cheer for me on race day. Tell Hydro he looks fast. Or, show up for the animals in your life. Take your dog on an extra long walk. Give your kitties an extra treat. Spend time with the ones who show up for you everyday.

And the running? You can leave that part to me.
