Raise money for RADA Foundation
RADA Foundation is a 501c3 started in 2023. Our goals are to foster and advance the arts in Asheville’s River Arts District by supporting the efforts of the River Arts District Artists membership organization and to be a leader in providing progressive services to our members, from shared spaces, scholarship opportunities, to technical assistance programs for professional and emerging artists in the River Arts District. Led by three core programs: Scholarships, Space, and Support RADA's organizational operations.
In the Fall of 2024 the River Arts District was hit by devastating flooding. Over 80% of the studios and galleries were affected by the floods and less than half of the artists are currently back in the River Arts District working or showing in galleries. Our mission remains the same, to support the arts and artists in the River Arts District. That mission now includes supporting RAD artists through grants to support resupplying studios with tools, displays and other studio needs; as well as supporting the artists that need help with rent to stay open or deposits on new spaces. We work with community partners to offer display space and working studio space to displaced artists with the goal of reviving and reinventing the River Arts District with the Arts at the center of the community.
