The postrace VIP Suite on Saturday, April 25, is inside the Fighting Illini Center for Excellence (FICE) at Gies Memorial Stadium, just north of the finish line. Finish your race, get your medal, and then head to the VIP Suite, where you'll find delicious food. Vegetable and egg strata bites. Oatmeal bar with toppings (candied pecans, chocolate chips, syrup, cranberries, or any of the yogurt toppings). Greek yogurt with berries, flax seeds, chia seeds, agave, and granola. Fresh fruit, pastries, and muffins. Charcuterie platters with cheeses, cured meats, nuts, olives, fresh and dried fruits, served with crackers and Lavosh. Spinach and artichoke dip with tortilla chips. Build your own sliders with choices of brioche rolls or Hawaiian rolls and chopped brisket or smoked chicken with toppings of pickles, onions, cabbage slaw, Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce, Carolina gold, and hot honey sauce. Asiago pasta with fire roasted tomatoes and peas. Assorted cookies. Drinks (Premium coffee and tea from Columbia Street Roastery, smoothies from Tropical Smoothies, chocolate milk, bottled water, and OJ). Fun extras (physical therapists on site to provide personalized postrace stretching, music, photo opportunities, plus some bonus race swag). If you’re in the marathon or half marathon and you check a drop bag at the start line, we’ll have it waiting for you inside the VIP Suite. LIMIT = 75.
