FINISH LINE: Assisting swimmers out of the water.

TIME REQUIRED ON-SITE: 9:30am-11:30am. Requires an injury free individual with good physical strength as some swimmers are very unsteady exiting the water. Volunteer to be comfortable thigh deep in (potentially) wavy water and prepared to (possibly) get wet! This position requires a strong, injury-free volunteer able to stand on uneven ground in (potentially) wavy conditions to assist swimmers who can be unsteady exiting the water. Some swimmers need assistance out of the water. This involves wading into the water and providing a helping hand to swimmers. At the same time the timing chip can be removed from the swimmer's ankle.
