All teams that enter the Cateye Moonride have Team Sites available to set up in from Friday 10am however these sites have strict boundaries. If you require more space we have the Waipa Forest Camp across the road available exclusively during the event period for Moonriders. These sites are specifically for certified self-contained vehicles—either one campervan or one caravan (plus one vehicle) per site.

This product is for up to 3 nights (see options). You can arrive any time from 2pm Thursday 7th May 2026, check out by 11am Sunday 10th May 2026. No check in necessary, our team will come through twice daily (morning and night) to check registrations.

WAIPA FOREST CAMP RULES:

An ideal location designed specifically for self-contained campervans and caravans only.

Simply pull up and park on the designated grass areas.

You can enter and exit at any time.

Public toilets are available.

Treasure this place and please take your rubbish with you.

The nearest toilet wastewater dump station is on Te Ngae Road at the wastewater treatment plant.

Dogs are permitted but must be under control at all times.

No fires or fireworks

No Wastewater is to be emptied into the toilets.

KEEP SAFE

Lock your vehicle when unattended.

Keep your valuables out of sight.

Report suspicious activity promptly - call 111 if happening now, call 105 if already happened.
