Well-socialized, non-aggressive dogs are welcome at the Trot! Dogs may attend as spectators with their owners or participate in the event by purchasing this add-on, which includes a dog bandana. For the safety of all participants, dogs are not permitted in the Timed Runner Corral. Participants with dogs and/or strollers should line up at the back of the run/walk pack and are encouraged to walk the course. If choosing to run, please use extra caution for the safety of your child, dog, and fellow participants. Dog owners/handlers must be 18 years of age or older and may only handle one dog during the event. All dogs must remain on a fixed-length/static leash no longer than 3 feet at all times. Owners are responsible for providing water, cleaning up after their pets, and using good judgment regarding their dog’s temperament and behavior so all participants can enjoy the event safely.
