Beginner Training Plan on Training Peaks

We provide a free 12 week basic beginner training plan as a downloadable PDF. The first week is four workouts for a total of 2 hours of training. The longest week is 5 workouts for a total of 5 hours of training.  Do you like checking things off? We are now offering a 14 week beginner training plan through the app Training Peaks. Have a training plan on your phone and track your progress! You’ll need pool access and the ability to stationary bike indoors. The total workout time is only slightly more than the free version. This is still a beginner triathlete plan. There are two key differences between the free version and the paid beginner plan. 1) The paid plan is on the Training Peaks app. 2) The paid plan is longer and includes and indoor training phase. The free plan starts in June with all outdoor lake swimming. This price is only available during registration. Full price will be available independent of race registration.  The plan starts May 8th. You will be emailed a link to get started with Training Peaks in April. Look for this email!
