The Village Idiots Cycling Club of Lakewood Ranch/Bradenton/Sarasota, in conjunction with The St. Pete Bicycle Club, is pleased to announce the
11th Anniversary of the WOW (Women on Wheels) Ride,
our cycling event exclusively for women.
The purpose of the ride is to promote a healthy lifestyle and empower women in our community.
Proceeds will be donated to Selah Freedom.
Selah Freedom is a faith-based non-profit anti-human trafficking organization with the mission to end sex trafficking and bring freedom to individuals who have been exploited. Learn more about them here: https://selahfreedom.com/about/
The ride will have 3 routes; a 20, 40 mile & 62 mile route
Register by August 10th to guarantee a jersey in your size! Registrations after that date will not be guaranteed a jersey in time for the event. |
Amanda Coker, Guinness World Record holder of the greatest distance cycled in one year, by any man or woman at 86,573.2 miles (139,326.34 km) will be joining us again! Come ride the metric distance with her or meet her before and after the ride.
