Races start and end at the College of the Siskiyous campus in Weed, CA. All races start at 8:00.
The 2-mile course is entirely on local roads. The 5-mile course is on approximately 3 miles of local roads followed by about 2 miles of dirt trail. Water will be available at aid stations along the route. Runners will encounter moderate hills on both courses.
AWARDS: Trophies will be presented to the top male and female runner in each race. Ribbons will be presented to the top three male and female finishers in each 10-year age division.
This is promoted as a family event. Along with the two highly competitive races, we also offer an enjoyable 2-mile option for walkers that follows the Bear Trail around the COS campus. This is a nice shaded trail that follows the final two miles of the 5-mile race. Walkers will need to be alert for 5-mile runners approaching from behind.

Directions:
From the south on Interstate 5 - take the Central Weed exit (#747) and turn left - take the first right onto College Ave. and continue about 3 blocks and you'll see the COS campus on your left.
From the north on Interstate 5 - take the Central Weed exit (#747) and turn right - take the first right onto College Ave. and continue about 3 blocks and you'll see the COS campus on your left.
From Hwy 97 (Lake Shastina, Klamath Falls) - follow Hwy 97 through Weed - then take the first right after passing under the freeway onto College Ave. Continue about 3 blocks and you'll see the COS campus on your left.
