Participants:
Targeted for "newbies", beginner, and intermediate triathletes (ages 16 & up)
Ideal for beginners who want to gain more confidence in open water, on the bike, or while running off the bike.
For intermediate and experienced triathletes, a great chance to pick up some helpful tips and feedback from professional coaches.
All participants will receive a swim cap and koozie.
Sports nutrition products will be provided: Clif bars, Clif gels, and Ironman Perform sport drink.

Guelph Lake Conservation Area: 7743 Conservation Rd, Guelph, ON N1H 6J1
Park and meet by the Main Beach.
Washroom facilities available.
Cost:
$30 for participants who are a current annual member of Triathlon Ontario.
$10 extra to purchase single-day Triathlon Ontario insurance for participants who are not an annual member of Triathlon Ontario.
$5.50 extra (pay at entrance to park) to gain entrance to Guelph Lake Conservation Area (for participants who do not possess an annual park pass). This $5.50 park entrance fee includes parking.

About the Coaches
Coach James Loaring
Owner and Head Coach of Loaring Personal Coaching (LPC). NCCP Certified Triathlon Competition Coach. Triathlete since 1993. Professional Triathlete 2002-2009. Triathlon Coach since 2003. Former Canadian 'Kids of Steel' Champion. Bronze medalist at the 2002 ITU World Age-Group Triathlon Championships. Recipient of the Triathlon Ontario "Mr. Triathlete" award. Coach Mark Linseman
LPC Associate Coach who offers online and in-person coaching services. Elite triathlete with 14 years of triathlon experience. Master's degree in Exercise Nutrition and Metabolism. Performance Nutrition Consultant at the University of Guelph. Conducts laboratory and field analyses on triathletes and other endurance athletes to create and modify race-day hydration and nutrition plans. - proper attire for swimming, biking, and running. Extra clothing in case of rain and/or cool weather
- two water bottles (one filled with water and the other with sport drink)
- lunch and snacks
Please Note: Water, Clif bars/gels, and Ironman Perform sport drink will be available for all participants. However, we encourage participants to bring additional snacks.
