AIK Headshave 2013

WOW!!! What a day in sunny Osprey Village, Pitt Meadows. So many supporters of the 9th annual Athletes In Kind Head Shave.

Thank-you the Osprey Day organizers Anahi English of Stomping Grounds Coffee House & Bistro, and Hannah Vorciek of the Pitt Meadows Community Association for putting on such a great event and allowing AIK to run their annual Head Shave festivities.

AIK HEAD SHAVE event organizers Hody Lye & Shanon Balla were accompanied by The Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows Times, Slyce Hair Studio & Team Finn and inspired by stories and children shaving off their locks for kids battling Cancer. Donations are still coming in, adults & children of all ages are being inspired by the courage and compassion of Davis, Mackenzie, Corey, & Josh as they sport their new summer doos:)

The 9th annual Athletes in Kind headshave will be held on August 11th 2013 at noon in Osprey village.

Davis Balla will be leading the way, shaving his head for the third time!!!!!

New this year, online pledging and registration is available so you can support your favourite future bald person.

Cash,cheque or credit donations will be greatly appreciated on the day.

All pledge money goes to practical support for families who have children in cancer treatment.
