Brighton Applesfest 5k/10k

The Brighton Applesfest 5K/10K is a fun event and a great way to start your Saturday of Applesfest weekend before heading over to Main Street to check out the many vendors, entertainers, and activities that will be taking place throughout the day!

This event is open to runners and walkers (Nordic Pole walkers welcome) and features three different distances and routes that will test your fitness and give you a great workout, as well as provide you with a scenic tour of the town of Brighton.

All participants will start at the same time and run from Brighton's East Northumberland Secondary School, down Main Street past the many vendors that are setting up for the day, into beuatiful Proctor Park, and then loop back to the school for the 2K finish. From there, the 5K and 10K participants will continue up the road and into Dunnet's Apple Orchard before turning around to head back to the 5K finish or continuing out onto some scenic country roads for the remainder of the 10K route. All events start and finish in front of ENSS.

Top finishers will receive medals or ribbons, and a light breakfast will be served once participants finish and while the awards ceremony takes place.

Location: East Northumberland Secondary School (ENSS) - 71 Dundas Street (Brighton, ON)

Registration can be completed online (until Sept/26 at midnight) or on race day between 8:00am and 8:45am at ENSS

Race kit pick up will take place on race day between 8:00am and 8:45am (at ENSS)

Washrooms are available on site (inside the school) and there is plenty of parking available on-site

Awards Ceremony will be held at 10:30am in the ENSS cafeteria where a light breakfast will be served
