Make this a new Christmas tradition! Bring the family on out to this fabulous private forest! Runners will enjoy stretching their legs ! 5K run/walk is on paved and plowed roads. 10K and Half marathon are loops through the woods and plantation! Get in touch with your inner reindeer and participate! There will be a horse drawn hay ride, live music, hot choclate, and other festivities to make this a special morning outing! After the run, pick out your Christmas tree or greens and take some of the aromatic pine home with you! Learn about the different types of trees. All this, and you don't have to go to Vermont or go very far at all. Right here in Bristol, Indiana.
This race benefits Ribbon of Hope Cancer Services. They coordinate a network of qualified, trained, compassionate volunteers who help people with cancer navigate the emotional, financial and medical paths with free counseling.
For most people, if you get the news of the disease, your world can be turned upside down overnight. Suddenly, there is a new priority in your life that can put everything else on the back burner. A whole new vocabulary has to be learned, resources, diets, regimes...it can be most daunting.
NOTE: There are several EBY's locations. This event will be held on the road less traveled, the farm on CR 33. Please, please check the address and load into your GPS. Do NOT go by the links on the web. It is not at the "Normal" retail spot on SR 120!

Time for an Outing!
Make this a new family tradition! Come out to the country to play and stretch your legs with your family and pick your your Christmas tree and holiday greenery at the same time! We wanted to design a wonderful, wonderland experience- complete with live music, horse drawn hay rides, plenty of room to look around, the aroma of fresh cut pine trees.
It's all happening on Saturday, December 7 morning at Eby's Evergreen Plantation.
We have special introductory pricing for this event to make it affordable:
Any race is $25 without a shirt or $40 with a long sleeve performance shirt.
Race entry includes chip timing, snacks, live music, a custom finisher award, a free fun run for the kids (with paid adult entry) and a discount on your Christmas tree.
After the run, you can do a quick change in our heated dressing rooms, grab some nourishment and then head out to look for your tree. Perhaps your family members have already been searching for the perfect tree!
You can chose from hundreds of trees and cut down right there, so it is as fresh and fragrant as they come.
