2013 Santy Paws 4K

Welcome to Santy Paws a Run going to the dogs! 4Km Run/Walk/Wag!

We just can't wait for you to join us on this Saturday for Santy Paws!

Race Kit Pick Up starts at 1pm and goes till 2:30 race time.
Start/Finish and Registration is all in the same area. Victoria near University is all closed off for out event. Look for all the activity and the blue Runningflat tents to pick everything up.

Remember dress warm, we will have prizes for best dressed. The course is Victoria to Chatham St W to Ouellette Avenue south down to Giles and back. We are expecting 10,000 people on the streets waiting for the parade and boy are they going to be surprised!

On the course of the Downtown Windsor BIA's Winterfest Parade a 4K run/walk will take place. The race starts at 2:30pm, just before the big parade starts and travels from University and Victoria down Ouellette to Giles and back. Imagine you and your pooch coming down the road with thousands of spectators lining the streets waiting for the parade cheering you on! All participants will be registered and receive a race bib and be allowed to register up to two dogs. Each participant will receive a finishers medal that doubles as a very unique and fun Holiday tree ornament. Just for entering the event you will receive a very cool LED Dog Leash. With steady on or blinking LED capabilities it will keep you safe all winter long from those dark walks in the morning and evenings.

Please pledge money through the link to the Humane Society and help them with the amazing work they do.

Please be aware of your surroundings, this event will accomidate upto 1000 dogs and you know you dog best and please keep them in check and bring a bag to clean up any mess that may occur at the start/finish or on the course. We are all counting on a safe and issue free event.

You do not have to be a dog owner to run/walk in this amazing event.

This is not a timed event so prizes will be awarded to the best dressed dogs and matching owners!
