London Lady's Half Marathon

Half Marathon Relay & 5K

On Sunday November 3rd, 2013 it’s all about the ladies! Run London will roll out the first ever London Lady’s Half Marathon, Half Marathon relay and 5k to benefit ITSY. As a non-profit organization, ITSY supports the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Children’s Hospital, London Health Sciences Centre. In addition to helping the “itsy bitsy” NICU residents, Itsy lends a helping hand to families who find themselves unexpectedly in a nightmarish situation, struggling to manage when faced with the unexpected costs of having an infant in the NICU.

*Funds will be granted to the Children's Health Foundation and provided directly to families to help alleviate the costs associated with everyday living expenses, medical equipment rentals and other unexpected fees.

This is an event to celebrate all women. Whether you are a serious runner, run for fun, walker or anything in between, this is the event for you! Come on and join and estimated 1200 to 1400 participants. Even though this is a ladies only event, some of London's most supportive men are getting in on the act: event registration, pace bunnies & water stops will feature members of the police and fire departments, Western and Fanshawe students, athletes and professionals.

Post-Race (after the run fun!!)

Stick around and enjoy the festivities in Harris Park. We will have large heated tents available for your comfort (All of this will be offered until noon). Here is a small sample of what we will be offering:

  • Yoga class - nice way to stretch after a race!

Final Event Details

Charity Details: Although ITSY is still awaiting donations from expo vendors and some mail in donations we are pleased to announce that the 1st annual London Lady's event raised over $13,000 for the NICU (Childrens Hospital).
