Raise money for Windsor Regional Cancer Centre Foundation
Each year in Windsor and Essex County there will be approximately 2,000 residents diagnosed with cancer. In the past five years we have seen a 47% increase in visits at our Centre. We know that eventually cancer will touch our lives through a family member, friend, neighbour or colleague. All proceeds raised at the “Running From Cancer” event will go towards:
(1) Ensuring that our medical staff keep up to date with the most current state of the art technology and equipment.
(2) Provide for continued funding for our clinical trials team and their ongoing research regarding cancer issues.
(3) Promoting the highest quality of care with respect and dignity for our patients and their families.
