Harrow District High School will once again host the Iron Hawk Duathlon.
The Iron Hawk is the culmination of the Iron Hawk Campaign which promotes mental wellness through various activities such as yoga, zumba, meditation, a running club, a biking club, and self defense classes.
There will be mulitple types of races:
- DO-A-DU: 2.5km run, 15km bike, 2.5km run (Individual or Team Relay)
- Duathlon: 5km run, 30 km bike, 5km run (Individual or Team Relay)
- 5 KM Run
- 10 KM Run
All proceeds will be donated to WE Care for Kids and the Soaring Hawk Fund.
Late Registration: ONLY on Race Day; Registration begins @ 7:30am
Raise $100 in pledges and your registration fee will be reimbursed!
($175 for relay teams)

Duathlon Clinic with Lionel Sanders
- Following the Iron Hawk on May 11, Canadian Duathlete of the Year Lionel Sanders will be holding a free clinic for all interested registrants.
- The Clinic will be held at Harrow District High School (45 Wellington St, Harrow) @ 1:30pm in the school Library.
- Pre-Registration is required to attend the clinic. Participation will be limited to 75 people.
Race Day Amenities
- Complimentary Pre and Post Massage will be available!
- Excellent change, washroom, and shower facilities located on site.
- Arrive early for minor bike tune ups from Farm Dog Cycle Tours (First come first serve)!
- Enjoy many post race snacks and drinks.
Pre-Race Event: Friday, May 10
- We will be gathering at the Camoes Portuguese Club (just down the road from the race site) for a pre-race celebration.
- There will be a raffle, silent auction, delicious finger foods, and inspiring speeches.
- We will honour our sponsors and celebrate the Iron Hawk Campaign: Achieving Mental Wellness.
- Guest Speaker Lionel Sanders will address race fans.
- Tickets are on sale for only $20.00. (email kyle.berard@gecdsb.on.ca or pick up tickets at Harrow District HS)
- All proceeds from the event will go towards our recipients: WE Care For Kids and The Soaring Hawk Fund: Recognizing the Exceptional.
