The Bainbridge Half Marathon along with “A Night At the Races”; a Kentucky Derby themed event, was created as a fundraiser for the Memorial Hospital Foundation and the money raised supports the Foundation’s mission to provide needed special equipment to Memorial Hospital, advancing health care in Southwest Georgia. The Half Marathon’s course is designed to showcase some of Bainbridge’s classic neighborhoods, our beautiful oak tree lined streets, and other local points of interest.
We are very excited about continuing to bring a top notch distance running event to Bainbridge. Running and Walking in a Fun Competitive Environment has many positive effects on the city and our community. We would like to invite runners of all abilities, sponsors, volunteers, and spectators to participate in these events. We are looking forward to March, and are committed to growing the Bainbridge Half Marathon every year and promoting healthy living in Southwest Georgia, Southeastern Alabama, and Northern Florida.
