HoBOOken Halloween 5K and Scary Scurry Kids' Run

The Fifth Annual HoBOOken Halloween 5K takes place on October 25, 2014!

The HoBOOKen 5K is a fast, flat, fun 5k that SELLS OUT early each year. It takes place on the beautiful Hoboken waterfront, with a backdrop of the NYC skyline. Kids' races, costume contests, great post race refreshments and more! Our course is USATF certified.

The race is produced by the Elysianettes to benefit the Hoboken Shelter, whose mission is to transform lives by providing meals for the hungry, shelter for the homeless, & services to support people to become housed.

Fundraising Contest

Entering the contest is easy. When you sign up for the race a personal fundraising page will be created for you simply edit your page with your personal message, and share with friends, family and associates and let everyone know your supporting The Hoboken Shelter.

The shelter provides many services to our community, including a multitiude of workshops geared toward providing guests with the tools to become employed, a homelessness prevention program, and a permanent supportive housing program. Key to the success of these programs is helping to feed homeless guests during their time of need. The shelter serves 300 meals a day, which cost $2/meal

Team Contest!

Get together with your teammates and raise some money for The Shelter, while competing for some great prizes from generous Hoboken businesses. Teammates individual fundraising pages will be totaled to determine winners.

Charity 5K Closed

We are pleased to offer a special "charity bib." Cost is $100, which includes a $65 tax-deductible gift to the Hoboken Shelter. You'll receive a special gift from the HoBOOken, a tax receipt and the satisfaction of contributing to a very important Hoboken Charity.
