NEW Athletes In Kind 6-8 week running program enables kids, Kindergarten – Grade 7, to run with an organized group & develop a love for running with Speed & Endurance.
Generation Run January 1st 2014 at 10am in Osprey Village is our goal run for this 6-8 week program. The fun family run has a 2k, 5k, & 10K route along the Fraser River path and dyke system in Pitt Meadows.
Generation Run is hosted by the Muller Family and SOLE Experience Running Company, all donations from the event are donated to the BC Childhood Cancer Parents Association.
AIK Speed & Endurance AIK kids run program is designed to encourage kids to be active and healthy while giving them a sense of purpose through giving. Each week registered participants meet for an organized specific run workout of INTERVALS, RELAYS & DIAGONALS.
The AIK Charity Run Club school coordinator is responsible for organizing what day and time your school's club participates. See below for participating schools in your area. Or contact loriemuller@shaw.ca for information on How to start your own AIK Charity Run Club in your elementary school.

Our training programs (clinics) are very rewarding & inspire kids to "RUN with purpose"
The AIK Charity Run Club program is different, it gives kids an opportunity to be part of a charity, gives them a sense of importance and ownership. The kids love to be part of a healthy giving program and take pride in their milestones and achievements. We run through all weather conditions, we are tough, we are driven, we do what sick kids can't BECAUSE WE CAN and we do it to support them & their families.
*Our kids program is like no other, the participants understand the gift of HEALTH and how important it is to make healthy choices in activities (such as running) We support the BC Childhood Cancer Parents Association at Vancouver's Children's Hospital.
All proceeds from registration support families battling Cancer through our partner BCCCPA

AIK Club shirt design

Returning runner vs. NEW runner
If you are a Returning AIK Charity Run Club member (2013 FALL session) you will not require a club shirt because you would have already purchased one in the 2013 Oct.-Dec.training sessions.
If you are a NEW member then you will need to register as a "NEW runner". All participants must wear their official club shirt so that the school volunteer coordinator knows you have registered, parent has signed the waiver/release and paid.
The AIK CHARITY RUN CLUB supports the BC Childhood Cancer Parents Association, proceeds from your registration help families that struggle financially because of childhood Cancer. The Club Shirt we ask you to wear identifies that you "RUN with PURPOSE" and are part of a fundraising run club.
"Enjoy your RUN"
