The Golden Eagle Country Run is one of the oldest and toughest runs in the Upper Cumberland!
It has been in existence in one form or another since at least 1978! This race is put on by the Cadets and Cadre of the Tennessee Technological University Army ROTC Department and serves as a final test of our Seniors leadership and planning abilities before they commission as Army Officers and gives them some real world experience in leadership before they start their Army careers. The planning, staffing, conduct, and timing that is necessary to the successful running of The Golden Eagle Country Run mirror that of conducting current fast paced, highly coordinated military operations.
Team Option:
For teams, please Create a Team on the registration page. Valid Teams consist of a minimum of 5 people and have a person of the opposite sex. Team must be registered under 1 bill with a minimum of 5 people to receive the team fee of $14 dollars before March 15th and $17 dollars starting March 16th.
