The 415k & Miracle Mile
We're taking you back. Back to the glory days of road races when it was just about showing up, getting your run on and then smiling with friends in the beer garden. That is the goal of the 415k and Miracle Mile. We're throwing it back to simpler times.
This 5k run/walk, a one mile race for the competitive types and a 415kids Race will all be held in Downtown San Rafael, CA on July 13th, 2014. We're taking you back to simpler times of short shorts, post-race party at the Broken Drum and a splattering of high fives.
Internally we're calling it Operation HeyDay 5k and that means we're going back in time to the good ol days. In the end, we will still reward you with a big 'ol medal, a great finisher's shirt, and a great fitness experience.
REMOTE RUNNING: Can't make it out to Marin for race day but still want to participate? Not a problem! Sign up as a Remote Runner and complete your 5k on your own! You will receive your ceremonial remote racing bib, official race shirt, and finisher's medal the week after the race (if this is your third and final race in the Run the Bay Challenge, your RTB medal will be sent in this package as well)! No official timing necessary for Remote Runners, but we encourage you to time your run, take a photo after you finish, and post your unofficial time with your photo to your social networks of choice and send to us via Facebook or email!
Represent Running & Titanium Racing
This exciting event will be co-produced by Represent Running and Titanium Racing, formerly Marin Runs, and the result is the best of both worlds. Local knowledge and love from the Titanium folks and big time production from the RR crew. The 415k is a central stop on the "Run the Bay" Challenge Series along with the San Jose 408k "Race to the Row" and the Let's Go 510 "The East Bay's 10k.' Run all three and earn yourself that big ol' Run the Bay Challenge Medal.
