The Federal Way Community Center will host its 5th annual Freaky 5k on Sat., October 25th at 11am. Runners will receive a flag football belt and Zombies scattered along the course will attempt to capture your flag. Cross the finish line alive if your flag is still intact. Runners and Zombies register at www.raceroster.com or at the FWCC. Costumes are not provided, but are necessary for Zombies. Cost: 5k Zombie Run (Ages 11+)- $20 until 8/31, $25 until 9/30 or $30 after that and day of; 5k Zombie Run (Ages 10 & under) - $10; Zombies - $10 (Prizes will be awarded to best dressed Zombies and most flags captured); Non-Zombie kids walk/run - $5; Prizes will be awarded to Runners, Zombies and Kids. Price includes race and free event photo. Shirts available for sale the day of.
