6th Annual Hustle For Hunger

We are very excited to introduce our re-vamped Hustle for Hunger this year supporting the Sasaktoon Food Bank and Learning Centre! This years event is an all ages obstacle style race in the scenic Rotary Park of Saskatoon. The race will involve various obstacles which will challenge you to jump over, crawl under and run through! We are in need of both volunteers and participants, so challenge a local classroom or office to see who can fundraise the most for a great cause.

Fundraising can be contributed by raising money, donating non-parishable food items on race day and pledging participants.

In 2004, in celebration of our 30th anniversary, CBI Health Group initiated a charitable drive to assist local food banks across Canada. For 30 days, our clinics raised food, money and awareness for the hungry in our communities. In our inaugural year we raised 26,000 pounds of food and $27,000.

Our annual "Hustle for Hunger" campaign, holds runs/walks in communities from coast to coast. Other activities include bake sales, book sales, and ping pong tournaments.

Year after year, our collective efforts have brought tremendous results to the communities we serve. Our nine-year totals are an astounding 497,127 pounds of food and $1,050,851! We are extremely proud of the accomplishment of our staff and community supporters.

This year, our obstacle course will include:

Tire Run, Military Crawl, Burpie/Relay Station, Push/Pull Sleds, Slackline/Balance, Bag Carry, and Hurdles!

We will also have events/obstacles for children 10 and under to keep the fun going!
