Sackville Triathlon

Join us for this awesome event at the end of the summer!

ONLINE REGISTRATION ONLY. REGISTRATION CLOSES THURSDAY 22nd AUGUST.

This event consists of a duathlon and triathlon and is limited to 200 participants total.

THE SWIM-750 meters START TIME 0930
The swim will be a loop in Silver Lake. Wet suits are encouraged. Bright bathing caps are mandatory.Weedy and a tad murky, but a pleasant 18-21 degrees..
IF YOU CAN T DO THE SWIM IN UNDER 30 MINUTES OR HAVEN T SWUM IN OPEN WATER CONSIDER DOING THE DUATHLON.

SAFETY: WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE SWIMMERS TO WARM UP IN THE WATER PRIOR TO THE RACE.

THE BIKE- 20 km
Mostly flat with some rolling hills. It is a North/South out-back. Prevailing winds come from the South in the Summer so will cool, and slow, your return.

THE RUN -3 Km (Duathlon)/ 5 km (Both)
The run course will be flat and fast. Mix of crushed gravel trail and pavement.

DIRECTIONS TO RACE SITE. Exit TCH at Sackville, exit 504 (look for Tim Horton s,Wendy s and McDonald s). Head north (left from Moncton, right from NS), on Main St. Go 2 km and look for Silver Lake and Lilas Fawcett Park on your your left. Parking available across the bridge at Middle Sackville Baptist Church. Please don t park at the Lilas Fawcett.

Parking lot or on the bike / run course adjacent to the Park.
*IMPORTANT NOTICE #2: RACE PACK PICK UP FOR ADULT RACES IS BETWEEN 0730 AND 0830 AM, Race Briefing at 9:00 and awards at 11:30 A.M.

Tri NB membership is mandatory and free-you join as part of registration with Atlantic Chip.
