Run a 5k course within the quarantined city of Olympia WA. Conquer the infamous course with its abandoned cars and kill zones. Dodge zombies looking for “fast food.” Race against darkness and survive the Zombie apocalypse.
As a participant you will have the option to run as a Human, Zombie, or Zombie Hunter. Humans and Zombies will be given “life strips” (flag football flags) to tuck in your shorts or pants. Keep them safe until you escape the quarantine area. If a Human loses their flag to a zombie they have been "infected" and if a Zombie loses it to a Hunter they just got double tapped.Just keep running and enjoy the experience of the most unique night race ever held.
Can you survive The Zombie Dash?
Option 1: Human Runner
- Run five kilometers on post-apocalyptic streets and paths
- Race against darkness
- Dodge the zombies and keep your “flag football” life strips to avoid infection and stay alive (time bonus)
- Win by being the first human to escape the containment zone without losing your "Life Strip"
Option 2: Zombie Runner
- Dress and act like the undead, freak out the survivors
- Infect the survivors by grabbing their flags
- Dodge the Hunters and keep your "life strips" to avoid getting double tapped and stay alive
- Win by being the first Zombie to escape the containment zone without losing your "Life Strip"
- Special prize for the Zombie with the most Human Life Strips
Option 3: Zombie Hunter
- Dress up as a Zombie Hunter. Nerf Guns Only
- Double Tap Zombies by grabbing their flags
- Win by being the first Zombie Hunter to escape the containment zone with the most Zombie Life Strips
