The 3rd Annual Band Aid 5k/8k races, benefiting the Asheville High School Band, will begin and end on the beautiful campus of Asheville High. Join us for a great race, for a great a cause! All proceeds from the 2015 race will be used to help replace old, damaged and worn out instruments, as well as support two scholarship funds for graduating band members.

Packet pick up on Friday evening in the High School cafeteria starting at 5pm and race morning starting at 8am.

Awards

For both 5k and 8k:

Custom hand made metals as well as gift certificates from the Asheville Running Company will be awarded to the overall top three male and female finishers as well as the overall male and female in the Masters and Grand Master divisions.

Custom AHS BAND AID Cowbell awards will go to the top three finishers in the following age groups: 14 & U, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and over.

Overall finishers are not eligible for age group awards.

The 5K & 8K awards ceremony will begin at 11:30 am.
