RUN FOR ROCKY

In it's first two year, the Run for Rocky, held in Windsor Ontario in April, has raised over $129,000 in partnership with the Greater Essex County District School Board, St. Clair College of Applied Arts and Technology and the University of Windsor. The funds raised go directly into the Windsor/Essex high school and post secondary school systems to support the Gay Straight Alliance "GSA" Safe Schools Program. Rocky’s parents Nancy & Rob understood that the initiation of this program was insignificant without funding. The funds brought in thru the 2015 Run will be used to support educational programs for both parent and our local youth at the school level ensuring that Gay Straight Alliances start at home and are supported in a supportive and accepting school environment.

AFTER PARTY

SCHOOL PARTICIPANTS SHOULD SIGN UP AS A TEAM. THE HIGH SCHOOL WHO HAS THE GREATEST NUMBER OF ATTENDEES (INCLUDES STUDENTS, STAFF & FAMILIES) WILL BE AWARDED A PIZZA PARTY LUNCHEON.

ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL BE INVITED BACK TO THE ST CLAIR CENTRE FOR THE ARTS FOR AN INEXPENSIVE PASTA DINNER & ENTERTAINMENT.
