Rain, Shine or Armageddon, the race is on. Trust us, as of 12:01 today, you won't even notice the weather. Best bathing for male and female wins a watch. Yes, really...
The perfect metaphor: Not attending Pace To A Pint would be like missing the prom, then learning that due to your absence, your election as prom king/queen was passed off to your nemesis who ended up hitting it off with your crush as they drank all of your beer at the after-party. (By the way, if this actually happened to somebody, we’d like to hear from you...)
The Pace to a Pint 5K is back in 2015 – This year, we are taking things to the next level! Statement game! We told you by 2016, we were taking over the entire downtown area. You think we were kidding?
One reason this race is gaining popularity is because of the course; you’ll observe incredible waterfront views for the first half of the course, then find plenty of motivation to keep up the pace as you run past the pubs you’ll soon be occupying in energetic downtown Plymouth. The downhill finish is praised by all. View course flyover!
Once you cross the finish line, it’s party time. We’re kicking off your St. Patrick’s Day celebration across 14 bars in booming downtown Plymouth. All 21+ runners receive a beer ticket good for a Harpoon beer at one of our sponsoring bars. Race will end right around lunch time, so bring your friends and family! Whether you’re looking to boogie down, or enjoy a quiet meal with your family, the pubs will be offering a wide range of live entertainment and cuisine. From solo acoustic acts to Irish step dancers – this isn't just a road race; its an event that promises to deliver.

A Note from Cameron's Mom
The Cameron Groezinger Fitzpatrick Memorial Fund is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping College students and helping with Nut Allergy Awareness. Cameron was a 19 yr. old Bryant University freshman (Dean's List) whose life ended tragically from a Nut Allergy. He was an Honors student, National Honor Society, 2 time 1st Place Deca Winner at States for Plymouth North High School. He was home on Spring break in 2013 when he went into anaphylactic shock from a cookie containing nut oil. Cameron was a very outgoing, responsible young man with a love of learning and helping others. He was constantly giving to Blood Drives and was also an Organ Donor. He had an infectious smile and personality that lit up any room. He was well respected by teachers, Professors, and his peers.
Pace To A Pint is now being combined with the Cameron Fitzpatrick 5K, and we are excited to welcome their runners! The Cameron Groezinger Fitzpatrick Memorial Fund is trying to raise money for students to obtain college scholarships in his memory and also to donate to allergy research/awareness. Cameron's family will be on-site the day of the race; let's go out of our way to make them smile!
