Team VCA Woof Walkers is honored to come together to raise awareness for ovarian cancer. Each year, approximately 21,000 women will be diagnosed with ovarian cancer. It is one of the most deadly cancers affecting women, however early detection can lead to a 5 year survival rate of greater than 93%. The 4 most frequent symptoms of ovarian cancer are: bloating, pelvic or abdominal pain, difficulty eating, or increased urinary urgency or frequency.
