WHY: The Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation, United Way and Historic Camden are sponsoring The Tour de Camden bicycle ride on Saturday, May 2, 2015. Proceeds will benefit the community based programs of our key sponsors.
WHAT: There will be a metric century, a 50 mile and a 30 mile ride. We will follow the same routes as 2014 for this year’s ride. The routes will be to the south and southeast of Camden. The terrain is mostly flat with some rolling hills.
WHERE: The start time will be 9:00 AM and the ride will leave from Historic Camden, 222 Broad Street, Camden, SC 29020.
REGISTRATION: The registration fee for the ride is $40.00. The fee includes maps, rest stops, sag support and after-ride meal. T-shirt or cycling item give away will be provided to all advanced registration riders and as available to ride day registrants. No refunds – ride goes rain or shine.

From I-20 Exit 98
- Exit I-20 at Exit 98
- From 1-20 West take Exit 98 and bear right onto Hwy 521 North towards Camden. Historic Camden’s main entrance is 1.4 miles on the right.
From Hwy 521 South
- Travel to the town of Camden
- From the downtown main intersection of Broad (Hwy 521) and DeKalb (Rt.1) Streets travel on 521 South for 1.0 mile and Historic Camden’s main entrance is on the left.
From Hwy 521 North
- Pass under the I-20 overpass
- Continue on Hwy 521 North towards Camden and Historic Camden’s main entrance is on the right 1.4 miles after the I-20 overpass.
