Friends of the Cheat (FOC) is a grassroots watershed group working to "restore, preserve, and promote the outstanding natural qualities of the Cheat River Watershed". FOC cleans up acid mine drainage pollution, monitors stream health, develops regional rail-trails, and public river accesses, and educates and advocates for a healthy environment.
