Welcome to the Inaugural True North Academy Fun Run/Walk! Have the opportunity to run along the beautiful trails of the Wasaga Beach Provincial Park with indescribable views of the longest freshwater beach in the world!
The Races:
-Kids 1km for children 10 and under (not timed)
-Timed 5km out and back (children under the age of 12 require a paid adult to run with them)
The Course:
This timed event runs on mostly paved and gravel trails with a small section of road for the 5km. The 5km is an out and back course that starts just outside the West entrance of beach area 5 and follows the trails through the provincial park to the East end of beach area 4 and back. The kids 1km run half a km through beach area 5 and back.
Prizes:
Age category medals will be presented to the top three male and female finishers for the run category in the following age categories:
19 and under
20-29
30-39
40-49
50+
Medals will also be awarded to the top three male and females registered in the walk category
All children who participate in the kids 1k will receive a medal!
There will also be a bib raffle in which all registered participants in the 5km event will be entered for a chance to win some pretty awesome prizes!
The first 100 registrants in the 5km run/walk will receive a custom tech tee. Sizes cannot be guaranteed after April 15th.
