Fitz Frenzy Trail Run

Welcome to the Third Annual Fitz Frenzy Trail Run! We are a group of dedicated trail runners who are hoping to share our trail with many other avid runners. We are hosting this year's event on September 20, 2015 at 9 am in Scotsburn, Nova Scotia. There are three distances to choose from again this year - 7, 14 and 21. The 21k runners will have the pleasure of seeing more of the mountain than ever! We are working hard on the courses this year and hope the weather will cooperate like it did last year! All distances will be challenging as they begin with a very long ascent up Fitzpatrick Mountain before branching off to different trails depending on the distance you choose. The trails are almost all single track with some double track. We've also added a particularly challenging section called 'Thrill Hill" just to make it a bit more interesting! The scenery is amazing as you pass over bridges, through different types of forest and some of you may even catch a glimpse of Prince Edward Island! Registration will be at the J.P. Gammon Center right in the village of Scotsburn and starts at 7:30 am. New this year are race T-shirts included in your race fee and there will be prizes awarded for Top Male and Top Female in each event. There will also be draw prizes available as well as refreshments at the end of the race. Note: we are capping this years race at 100 participants so register early!
