Unfortunately, due to low registration numbers, we’ve been forced to cancel Saturday’s Rock ’n Brew Fest & 5K at Memorial Hall. This is a big disappointment and we apologize for any inconvenience this has caused, but there simply were not enough “tasters” for the beer suppliers to make the trip. We will begin issuing full refunds this week to all registered customers.
Thank you for your understanding.
Yes, yes, and yes again... We got your emails (all of them) and we are happy to say Rock 'N Brew Fest is back. Whether you want to drink, run, or indulge in both, your day just got a whole lot better.
Back by popular demand is one of the coolest themed events on the South Shore. If you have partaken in one of our events before, you're familiar with our ability to throw a killer party; which in this case is a giant craft beer tasting event with over 100 beers to sample, including live entertainment with 6 Foot Sunday, inside Plymouth's most electric concert venue, Memorial Hall. Take pictures with celebrity impersonators like Paul McCartney, Mick Jagger, Ozzy Osbourne, and more, across two floors of beer tasting rooms, decorated to make you feel like you're at a live concert! This will not be your average beer festival. Select food items will be available for purchase.
Expose your inner rock star and come dressed as one; any era or genre is welcome. We loved all the crazy wigs, guitar props, and especially the guy who came dressed as Elvis. Best costume(s) from the race wins free entry into beer tasting (individual and team awards).
This event is open to the general public:
- Just Running - If you're not big on craft beers, but just looking for a fun evening jaunt, this one will make you happy. The race WILL NOT be timed, but promises fun along the course. Not many road races take place during the evening!
- Just Drinking - Let us not discount those who are quite fond of their beer belly (in Medieval Times it was a sign of wealth). This event is open to the general public and will be a good way to kickstart your Saturday night.
- Running & Drinking - A lot of you like to earn your keep, and so its been surveyed by Eventbrite that 72% of runners want to drink beer after they have crossed the finish line. Perhaps we have taken this one to the extreme. You might say we're obsessed; we prefer the term "focused". We have created a combo price which offers a discount on admission to the beer tasting for runners.

Sober drivers will be granted access into beer tasting for $10. On the day of the event, sober drivers will be refunded $40 upon entry into beer tasting and will need to sign a waiver. Admission for sober drivers includes one (1) free non-alcoholic beverage, and one (1) free food item.
FAQ: I am participating as a sober driver...Why am I being charged $50 up front?
Answer: To make sure you actually meet with the appropriate security staff upon entry to sign the "sober driver waiver" and be issued the appropriate wrist band. You will receive a $40 refund at this time.

Charity
For this event, we have chosen to support local family and charity, Team Tucker. On February 2, only 4 days before his 2nd birhday, Tucker Belliveau was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy; a fatal genetic disorder where most boys lose the ability to walk by the age of 12, and have severe cardiac and respiratory complications, eventually leading to death by the time they reach their mid-twenties.
Making this story even more devasting is learning that Tucker's younger brother, Beau, has also been diagnosed with this disease. As of today, no boy has survived this disease, and it’s 100% fatal.
Only recently, Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, has discovered a treatment which may save Tucker and Beau's lives. The treatment they have developed works on mice and cultured human cells, and is thought to enter clinical trials within the next 3 years. The two boys are truly on a race against time. Alongside hefty travel expenses to Ohio, and medical bills, the treatment is supported 100% by donations and grants. This is the one hope available for giving Tucker and Beau a chance at life. Let's show this family our support. Tucker Strong!!!
