The Highlands Ranch Mountain Bike Series sponsored by BikeSource - Highlands Ranch will take place in our beautiful and pristine Backcountry Wilderness Area in August this year. With the addition of a 4th race, the Series will begin on Wednesday, August 5 and consist of four, Wednesday evening races starting at 6:00pm throughout the month of August with the final race being held on Wednesday, August 26.
Mountain bike racers of all abilities are welcome! There are four categories - A (expert), B (intermediate), C (beginner / recreational) and Junior (high school ages 14+). Points will be collected throughout the Series to crown an overall Series Champion in each male / female category at the conclusion of the Series.
Racers will have to race in 3 / 4 races in order to be eligible for series ranking and the Overall Series Champion award. We will take your top 3 finishes to calculate your final ranking score.
This is a fun, laid back event for those of you who love racing and want to prepare for your weekend races or fall cyclocross season. It's also a great way to try a mountain bike race in a friendly environment!
After each Wednesday night race, Grist Brewing Company will be handing out free beers to all over 21 year old participants. We will also have a dinner available for purchase from a different food truck each week.
