Help Ed raise money

Ed Ackerman is Pittston's self-proclaimed "optimist" whose weekly column appears in Greater Pittston Progress and who blogs regularly on pittstonprogress.com. His sister Barbara, just one year and one day older than Ed, died on May 17, 2003, after a long battle with cancer. He looks forward to participating in "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes" at this year's "Paint Pittston Pink" as a tribute to his late sister and in support of another Barbara, Barbara Sciandra, founder of the event and a cancer survivor.
