Celebrate The Season presents the 3rd annual Tinsel Trot Holiday Fun Run/Walk at Old Santee Canal Park (OSCP) in Moncks Corner on Saturday, Nov. 21, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Kids from 1 to 92 are invited to take an evening run, walk, dash, dance or prance through the two-mile course that offers a “sneaker preview” of the Celebrate The Season Holiday Driving Tour.
This family-friendly event will feature a special guest appearance from Santa Claus, glow necklaces for all participants, and more. Children’s activities and food will be available. All food proceeds will benefit local non-profit charities. Music will be broadcast thorough the entire course this year, and costumes are encouraged. Youth groups are welcome, and children must be accompanied by an adult.
Online Registration Deadline: Noon on Saturday, Nov. 21
Early registrations received by Nov. 6, 2015 at 11:59 p.m. are guaranteed a t-shirt. You will NOT be guaranteed a t-shirt if you register after Nov. 6.
Online registration available through Nov. 21, 2015 at noon. On-site registration is available at Old Santee Canal Park until 5:15 p.m. on race day. All proceeds from the Tinsel Trot will be donated to local charities in conjunction with those raised through Celebrate The Season. Groups of 10 people or more register as a team and is encouraged. This will facilitate packet pickup by the team captain.
Packet pickup takes place Wednesday, November 18 through Friday, November 20, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at Old Santee Canal Park, 900 Stony Landing Road, Moncks Corner. Day of race packet pickup will begin at 4:00 p.m.
