Downtown Houston will be flooded with more than 7,000 runners and spectators in the 32nd annual YMCA Jingle Bell Run & Walk, which will take place on Sunday, December 13. Runners of all ages and fitness levels are welcome to register for the 5-mile Timed Race, 3-mile Run/Walk and a Kids Fun Run. Festivities include a costume contest, live music, kids zone, food trucks and more!
Each year, the YMCA Jingle Bell Run raises funds for the Tellepsen Family Downtown YMCA Annual Campaign, which helps ensure that the YMCA continues to strengthen our community through outreach programs focused on preventing chronic disease, eliminating drownings and improving the academic performance of our youth.

WHAT: A fun run and family festival held in the heart of Downtown Houston during the holiday season. This event is open to persons of all fitness levels. Participants are also encouraged to dress up in their best holiday costumes and enjoy the festivities with the whole family.
BENEFICIARY: All proceeds from the YMCA Jingle Bell Run benefit the Tellepsen Family Downtown YMCA's Annual Campaign which provides scholarship dollars for people in need of YMCA programs. YMCA programs help improve and enrich the lives of so many in our community. The Tellepsen Family Downtown YMCA is proud to bring people together for this event that helps develop the individual and, in turn, strengthens the community as a whole.
WHERE: The event will begin and finish in front of the Tellepsen Family Downtown YMCA located at 808 Pease (map).
RACE DAY SCHEDULE: Race begins at 1:30 pm
AWARDS: Every child who participates in the Kids Fun Run will receive a prize at the finish line. Overall Male and Female first and second place male & female winners in each age group: 10-13, 14-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
RACE PACKETS: All registrants for the YMCA Jingle Bell Run will receive a race packet containing a race shirt, reindeer antlers, jingle bells and more!
COSTUME CONTEST: Dress up in your best holiday costume — let your imagination run wild! Costume judging will occur along the course and you must be a registered participant to win. Prizes will be awarded for:
