Try something different this New Year's Eve. Ring in the New Year with a 5K run on the stroke of midnight and then celebrate 2016 with a post race party! And if you don't want to run you can also just buy a party ticket!
FIFTH YEAR! And it is going to be even better!
PLUS all participants (runners and also just partiers) receive a great swag bag, beer and champagne (one each) and post race food. Your 2015 running and fitness resolution just became more clear!
"GREAT EVENT PETER! WE HAD A BALL. THE FIREWORKS WERE A NICE TOUCH! SWAG, PRE/POST VENUE, FOOD, VOLUNTEERS - ALL AWESOME!" 2011 ATTENDEE
Great way to spend new years. Enjoyed the run, champagne, fireworks and post race chill at bar vespa. Met some cool people. Overall a great alternative to the bar scene. - 2014 Attendee
This is a truly unique and enjoyable way to start the New Year! The Race is fun, well organized, and the food and drink afterwards is amazing. No stale bagels at this event! The organizing team is super as well, quick to respond to questions, great to deal with, and just plain awesome. Thanks! - 2014 Attendee
Run or walk in the cool King Liberty Village neighbourhood with super views of the Toronto Skyline. Chip timing, $10 Winter Gloves or a Toque, POST RACE FOOD (not just bananas and bagels, something hot and steamy), on course fireworks, $20 swag bag, stylish and unique finishers' medal. Free glass of bubbly to all finishers to celebrate your race and of course the New Year.
2015 Course Updates - there are some new, paved roads and connecting pathways this year so we should be able to make some improvements on the Route. Less turns, more straightaways but remember anyone looking for a PB should try another run! It was MINUS 25 in 2015 and MINUS 22 in 2014 so we are due for a warm evening in 2015?
