Our story…
Team #SPORTS wanted to give back this year with so we are running in the Toronto Waterfront10k for a really great charity the Red Door Family Shelter.
They provide emergency shelter and support to over 500 families in the GTA every year from women fleeing domestic violence, to families experiencing financial crisis and refugees. (www.reddoorshelter.ca)
Every dollar makes a difference, and all proceeds will goes towards
the Red Door’s Children’s Programs to help children and youth at the Red Door overcome the effects of homeless and abuse.
$25 —Provides an arts and crafts supplies for a child to let their creativity flow.
$50 —Provides a child with nutritious school lunches for 1 month
$100 - Funds an art therapy class to provide emotional support for a child or teen
As a thank you to all our awesome donors #SPORTS will be hosting a celebratory Sunday Funday picnic in Trinity Bellwoods on Sunday June 26. (Details to be circulated later.)
